"I never used to be afraid of heights as a young child. But when I was around 10 years old I suddenly became deathly afraid of being higher than 6 feet off the ground. Maybe dreams like these beat my subconscious into submissive fear of falling down from high places..." Lance Turk

I had this dream as a kid sometime around when I was 8 or 9 years old. We have a house at the Jersey shore and have to cross a bridge on the way to the island. The cool thing is that as you start going over the bridge. it looks like you're just driving straight up towards the sky.

That's where the dream starts. Instead of sitting in a car, I was riding my bike up a never ending bridge. It got harder to go on as I kept pushing my bike further and further. Eventually I started to wonder just how long the bridge was, so I stopped the bike and looked up. I didn't have far to go, so I left the bike and ran up to the summit.

I then looked over the side of the bridge and noticed that I was miles off the ground. And the bridge was even steeper than I imagined. Kind of like I was sitting on top of the St. Louis Arch.

Needless to say I was extremely panicked at this point. How could I get off the bridge when it was practically straight down in both directions? The wind started to blow hard at that point and the bridge began to sway and buckle under me.

I don't remember anything after that... I probably woke up at that moment.
