It's hard to explain how real the dark city seemed. I was standing in a large empty field. I looked out towards the building in the distance. To my left was a large dark building, it almost seemed like a hotel, or a place to live. It was darkly lit, with orange lights around the outside. Far in the distance was a dark south mountain and some tall "downtown-like" buildings closer. 

I walked forward, and started climbing invisible steps. Suddenly I saw a bunch of other people climbing the same steps as me, and I realized the people were stars, and I was one of them. Not celebrities, actual stars... in the sky. It was so dark.

I could feel almost an invisible hand rail as I climbed the invisible steps. I was high above the ground when I realized I shouldn't be part of this whole thing. The stars began combining in the distance. Exploding. I jumped down to the ground, because I knew this would happen and I was spared. 

On the ground suddenly huge cars flew from the center of the explosion landing all around me. When they hit the ground my world shook violently with impact. Suddenly cars flew into the buildings and the 2 or 3 of the buildings fell slowly. 

Huge silhouettes falling silently in the distance. I looked at someone and mentioned that this was the end. My dad didn't think so. Then I realized I was in Phoenix and the world was so much larger. It was the one of the most real dreams I've ever had... it was crazy.
