"How strange it was, thinking back to that ride. Having that memory. Even when it was happening I knew it was to perfect to be real. And that's why I took the picture... but now, I don't even have that. Just a true memory of a perfect experience..." David Mulhern

It felt so cinematic. The train was in a canyon going around the bend. The sun was going down and the orange light shined through the windows of my cabin. The sky was so beautiful. The train danced in and out of the canyon's shadows.

There was a girl sitting in front of me. Dark hair, dark beautiful eyes. Her smile, so perfect. We talked and laughed. I couldn't get over how perfect she was. It was overwhelming.

I remember as the sun went down, how I looked at the sky and realized I would be dark and realized the day would be gone soon. I didn't want this to disappear. I had a camera with me. She turned around and I took a picture and I remember the way the moment was stopped in the flash and how perfect she looked. That moment was mine.

She said one thing. It was after I had lied to her in that train. "Ooh," she said, "you lied, that means you are to be married." It sounded strange to me but somehow... somehow it made sense. She was perfect.

We sat on the bench at the park together and we talked. When I kissed her she turned into a cat. And she went off on the adventures a cat would go on. Soon, I was with someone else looking for her. I asked my companion where she was and I was informed she was in the trees. It was dark, and I looked into the trees.

I called into the trees. They seemed blue from the moonlight. I was so excited when I found her. Most of the excitement came from talking to a cat. It was a cool experience. I asked her if she could go back and forth, between a human and a cat.

She said no.

We raced to the car... My family was going someone to eat but I forgot my shoes so I ran back to get them. When I got them on, I ran to Pizza Hut and stood in line. The order-taker was reading the order of the guy in front of me, but the guy wasn't happy with what was being read so he changed his order. And it had coolant on it.

After the guy changed the order, the order-taker asked, "Why?"

The guy just looked at him. The order-taker said, "Oh yeah, I see."

I asked the order-taker about their policy of putting coolant on their pizza. He said it was used in computers. Somehow, that made sense.

Then, another guy to my left said something. The guy in front of me hesitated, then walked over to him. They fought in slow motion. It was very entertaining to watch. I then decided to order a pizza. I knew my family was waiting for me.

I closed my eyes and saw myself walking into the fast-food restaurant across the street with the pizza I was about to order. It seemed like a bad idea. Everyone would want it.
