My dream began the same... however, this time I was able to overcome the fear enough to look around. It was like a fog or a light mist. I could barely see through it.

Then slowly the image in front of me became clear. It was a staircase. As I looked up it seemed to have no end... This has to be my way out of the castle... so I run towards the stairs. 

At first I walked slowly... I was still frightened, but I felt I had to get out of the castle so I began to run. It seemed I ran forever. 

When I reach the top there were no doors... no windows. Nothing. Just a dead end.

I began to panic and that's when I woke up.
