"This dream took place before I had actually started dating. This girl physically resembles the kind of female I thought of as perfection. Obviously I didn't know any better at the time. I was stuck in the typical Hollywood fantasy of tall, stacked, blond who only wants to be around me. That vision, of course, has drastically been shattered since then." Lance Turk

When I was 15 I had a dream about that "perfect girl" who I've been searching for. Or just "a" girl who fit the bill at the time.

It started off pretty slow. My friends were driving forever through the open country. Just flying down the highway and making turns every so often. I had no idea where they were going. I knew that we weren't lost though. They knew where we were going.. I was just bored from sitting in the back seat so much.

Eventually we came upon a building out in the middle of nowhere. We all went inside. The closest I can come to describing it was like a roller rink without all the roller-skates. There were arcade games on the side, a place to get food, and everybody was milling about in the center. Some were dancing, most were standing still and talking. I immediately noticed that one girl in particular was really hot. I knew in my heart she was already with someone else, so I left my friend and played an arcade game.

I think my friends had a good time. At least they were actually out there trying to do something. After a while I gave up on the game and turned around. Right there, behind me, was the beautiful girl from before. But now I could see her fully. I wish I could remember her face but I can't. Just that she was generically pretty. But she had long flowing blond hair and was wearing pure white. She asked me if I wanted to dance with her.

Shyness be damned! I went with her to the middle of the floor. She started to dance, but I stood still because I didn't dance that well. I told her I wasn't good at this, and she said, "Just move. Don't think about what you're doing." So I wriggled around as best I could. I became aware that most of the people were looking at us now, but I didn't care.

A slow song came on so we got closer to dance. I looked deep into her face, then did something completely out of character for me. I went in and kissed her. She didn't seem to mind, so it looked like I was doing good. When I pulled back I looked at her again and she was smiling. That's when I woke up (damnit it all to hell!)
